Hi Girls. I'm not an expert on CD safety but I have some thoughts that might help to keep us all safe. It stems from an incident that happened not far from home. Only a coupla blocks actually. A young lad liked to cross dress and he began hooking on the street cross dressed as a woman. His "client" a man picked her (him) up and expected normal service and when he found out she was actually a he clobbered him, killing him. Body disposed out of town but found by guy walking his dog. Police investigated and somehow tied the two together. Charged, convicted, sentenced and serving his life sentence now. Not a nice tale.

Of course, as cross dressers we are probably not hooking for money but this story does point out that we are dressed to make both men and women think that we are really women. Granted some are more convincing than others. And I understand that many of us like to dress provocatively with sheer pantyhose, tight miniskirts, bigger breasts and sexy long hair. And let's face it lots of guys from waist down look pretty convincing. This will attract lots of looks. I strongly suggest not traveling alone at night or in secluded areas. When going to fetch your ride in the parking lot maybe give other girls a ride to stay together. There is strength in numbers. If you can carry protection in your purse do it. You know what I mean. Hopefully you never have to use it. But it's there in case.

I would always be friendly to people I'm that type of person but remember there are crazies out there and when you pile on crystal meth in this society you could be in trouble. If it is cold out and they don't have a shirt on - stay well clear. Clear sign of a meth addict. Just sayin'. Stay safe.

I used to only go for walks dressed in the evening/night in not too busy places but now I find I feel much more comfortable going out in the daylight. Still has risks but feels safer to me to be in the light with people around. So far no incidents of concern, in fact very few reactions of any kind. Have had the occasional quick head swivel from a passing car as I walk along a busy road. I like to think they are thinking, "Wow! Look at that hottie!" but more likely its, "WTF?"

Good advice... the world is not always a kind place, and unfortunately femininity adds it's own level of physical and social vulnerability... x
