Trust, Safety, Privacy & Consumer Protection Report

Operational Practices, Community Standards, Safeguarding Measures and Privacy Controls

Version 1.0 · 17 June 2026

This report explains how ClubCrossDressing approaches trust, member safety, moderation, privacy controls and consumer protection. It is intended to provide transparency for members, regulators, journalists and search engines about how the platform operates.

Introduction

This report provides a comprehensive overview of the operational, safety, privacy, moderation, governance, safeguarding and consumer protection practices employed by ClubCrossDressing®.

The purpose of this document is to provide transparency regarding how the platform operates, how members are protected, how content is moderated, how subscriptions are managed, and how ClubCrossDressing® seeks to maintain a safe, respectful and community-focused environment.

This report may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, technical, regulatory or community developments.

About ClubCrossDressing®

ClubCrossDressing® was established in 2009 and evolved from an earlier online community that began operating in 2006 under a different name.

The name “ClubCrossDressing®” is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom.

The organisation can additionally demonstrate longstanding international use of the name through continuous operation, domain ownership, hosting records, commercial activity, content publication and community development dating back to its inception.

For many years ClubCrossDressing® has provided a platform focused on friendship, support, social networking, dating, discussion, education and community participation for members of the crossdressing and gender-expression community.

The organisation will vigorously defend its intellectual property rights, trademark rights and established use of its brand where necessary.

Our Principles

The operation of ClubCrossDressing® is guided by the following principles:

  • Privacy First
  • Safety Before Growth
  • Human Moderation
  • Community Respect
  • Transparency and Accountability
  • Continuous Improvement

These principles influence decision-making across moderation, safeguarding, privacy, billing, member support, governance and community management.

Back to Contents

Membership and Billing

ClubCrossDressing® operates a freemium membership model.

Free members receive limited daily access to messaging and selected site features.

Paid members receive expanded access, including unlimited messaging and access to additional community tools and features such as blogging functionality and other premium benefits.

Features and services may be modified, expanded, restricted or discontinued from time to time at the discretion of ClubCrossDressing®.

Subscription payments are processed through CCBill.

Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not provided except in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of management.

Where consumer protection legislation requires refunds or cancellation rights, ClubCrossDressing® will comply with its legal obligations.

The subscription purchase process is designed to make it clear that members receive immediate access to premium digital services upon successful payment.

Information regarding access to services and applicable cancellation rights is presented during the purchase process.

Subscription Renewal Notifications

Where applicable, members are notified by email approximately fourteen days before a subscription renewal is due to occur.

This notification is intended to ensure members are aware of upcoming rebilling and have sufficient opportunity to review, modify or cancel their subscription.

Back to Contents

Cancellation and Re-billing Management

When a member cancels their account, ClubCrossDressing® undertakes a manual review of the associated billing status.

Where an active recurring subscription is identified, staff manually access the CCBill administration system and disable future rebilling.

This process is intended to ensure that members who no longer wish to subscribe are not inadvertently charged again and to minimise billing disputes and chargebacks.

ClubCrossDressing® has observed a substantial reduction in chargebacks since implementing this proactive cancellation review process.

In circumstances where a rebill has already occurred and concerns are subsequently raised, ClubCrossDressing® may review account activity, including login history and general account usage.

As part of this review process, staff may examine the date of the member’s last login and overall account activity.

Where it is determined that an account has been inactive for an extended period, typically exceeding one year and, in some circumstances, six months or more, recurring billing may be cancelled to prevent future renewals.

The purpose of this review is to balance customer fairness with the continued operation of the service.

ClubCrossDressing® seeks to preserve existing member arrangements wherever reasonably possible.

If an account is permanently closed and a member later chooses to return, they may be required to subscribe under the pricing structure available at the time of rejoining, which may differ from historical subscription rates.

For this reason, ClubCrossDressing® seeks to provide a reasonable period during which inactive accounts can remain available before any decision is made regarding future subscription management.

While disputes may occasionally arise through claims of unauthorised transactions, ClubCrossDressing® endeavours to minimise such situations through advance renewal notifications, manual cancellation checks, account activity reviews and responsive customer support procedures.

Safety and Moderation

Safety is a core operational principle of ClubCrossDressing®.

All images submitted to the platform are reviewed by a human moderator before publication.

User-generated text is subject to automated filtering designed to identify and prevent abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise harmful content from appearing on the platform.

The filtering system is configured to detect a wide range of offensive language and inappropriate terminology.

The platform maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards:

  • Racism
  • Hate speech
  • Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Threatening behaviour
  • Discriminatory conduct

The platform reserves the right to suspend, restrict or permanently remove accounts that violate site policies, community standards, safeguarding requirements, or create risk to other users or the wider community.

Warnings may be issued where appropriate, but ClubCrossDressing® reserves the right to take immediate action where it believes such action is necessary to protect members or the integrity of the community.

Back to Contents

Reporting and Community Safety

Reporting tools are available throughout the platform.

Members can report profiles, images, messages, content, behaviour or other activity that they believe may breach platform policies or create a risk to the community.

Reports are monitored through administrative moderation systems and are reviewed as quickly as reasonably possible.

In many cases action may be taken immediately.

Reports submitted outside normal operating hours are typically reviewed during the next moderation cycle.

ClubCrossDressing® aims to review reported content promptly and, in most circumstances, within approximately twelve hours.

Potential actions may include:

  • Content removal
  • Warnings
  • Temporary restrictions
  • Suspension
  • Account termination
  • Referral to relevant authorities where legally required

Members are encouraged to report concerns rather than engage directly in disputes with other users.

Back to Contents

Member Privacy Requests and Account Removal

ClubCrossDressing® recognises that members may wish to leave the platform or remove their personal information.

Members may request the removal of their account and associated profile information by contacting Customer Care.

Requests will be reviewed and processed in accordance with applicable legal, operational and record-retention requirements.

Where legally permissible and operationally appropriate, ClubCrossDressing® will make reasonable efforts to remove or anonymise member information following a valid request.

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, safeguarding, accounting or operational purposes.

The platform seeks to handle such requests promptly and respectfully while balancing privacy rights with legitimate business and legal obligations.

Back to Contents

Profile Quality, Language and Moderation Requirements

ClubCrossDressing® is a moderated community and requires profile content to be capable of being reviewed by moderators.

Profile information must be meaningful, genuine and written in English.

Profiles containing nonsensical text, random characters, repeated words, placeholder content, deliberately meaningless information, or other material that appears designed solely to bypass profile requirements may be removed.

This requirement exists to help ensure that members are participating in good faith and to assist moderators in assessing the authenticity, safety and intentions of accounts.

The platform may also remove or restrict profiles containing content that cannot be reasonably reviewed by moderators, including content written in languages that moderation staff are unable to assess.

Members are informed during registration that profile content should be submitted in English.

Language guidance is made available through translated registration information where appropriate so that users can understand this requirement before creating an account.

ClubCrossDressing® does not routinely rely on automated translation when making moderation decisions.

Automated translations may introduce inaccuracies, alter meaning or create uncertainty regarding a member’s intentions.

For safeguarding reasons, moderators must be able to confidently understand and review profile content.

Profiles may also be removed where content indicates behaviour, intentions or activities that conflict with community standards, safeguarding objectives or platform policies.

This may include profiles focused primarily on prohibited sexual content, explicit sexual activities, requests for sexual encounters, humiliation-related content, exploitation, harassment, abusive conduct or other content considered incompatible with the purpose of the community.

The objective of these requirements is to maintain a safe, respectful, support-focused and community-oriented environment for all members.

Account Enforcement and Community Protection

ClubCrossDressing® maintains enforcement procedures designed to protect members and preserve the integrity of the community.

Accounts may be restricted, suspended or terminated where ClubCrossDressing® believes there has been a breach of:

  • Terms of Service
  • Community Guidelines
  • Content Standards
  • Image Standards
  • Safety Policies
  • Applicable legal requirements

Enforcement action may also be taken in relation to:

  • Repeated attempts to upload previously removed content
  • Attempts to bypass moderation decisions
  • Creation of replacement or duplicate accounts
  • Harassment
  • Spam
  • Scams
  • Abuse of platform systems
  • Behaviour considered harmful to members or the wider community

Where content has been removed, members are expected not to re-upload the same material.

Repeated re-submission of removed content may result in escalation of enforcement action.

The platform reserves the right to act proactively where it believes member safety, safeguarding obligations, platform integrity or legal compliance may be affected.

Back to Contents

Enforcement Decisions

ClubCrossDressing® does not generally provide detailed explanations, evidence, reports, moderation notes, internal reviews, investigation records or other internal materials relating to individual moderation decisions.

The platform reserves the right to make moderation and enforcement decisions using information available to its moderation and safeguarding teams.

To protect members, moderators, reporting users and the integrity of internal safety systems, enforcement decisions may be implemented without detailed disclosure of the underlying evidence or reasoning.

This approach helps protect reporting systems from abuse and supports effective safeguarding.

Back to Contents

Appeals and Reviews

Permanent account terminations will normally be considered final.

ClubCrossDressing® does not operate a formal appeals process and is under no obligation to reconsider, reverse or review a termination decision.

Where an account has been temporarily restricted, suspended or placed on hold, ClubCrossDressing® may, at its sole discretion, consider additional information submitted by the member.

Any review undertaken does not create an obligation to reverse or modify an existing decision.

The platform reserves the right to determine whether further correspondence regarding an enforcement matter will be entered into.

Back to Contents

Identity, Authenticity and Fraud Prevention

ClubCrossDressing® is committed to maintaining a genuine, trustworthy and community-focused environment.

The platform seeks to reduce the presence of fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or malicious activity through a combination of moderation, account review procedures, safeguarding controls and community reporting mechanisms.

Members are expected to provide genuine profile information that accurately reflects their intentions for using the service.

The platform may review, restrict, suspend or remove accounts where there is reason to believe that an account:

  • Has been created using false or misleading information
  • Contains deliberately meaningless or deceptive profile content
  • Exists primarily to gain access to member content without genuine participation
  • Is being used for spam, scams, fraud or other abusive purposes
  • Has been created to bypass a previous moderation or enforcement decision
  • Forms part of a pattern of duplicate, replacement or coordinated accounts
  • Creates a safeguarding concern for other members or the wider community

ClubCrossDressing® may use information available through moderation systems, account activity, reporting mechanisms and operational reviews when assessing account authenticity and potential misuse.

The platform reserves the right to take preventative action where it reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to protect members, safeguard the community, maintain platform integrity or prevent abuse of the service.

These measures are intended to promote a safer environment, reduce fraudulent activity and encourage genuine participation within the community.

Back to Contents

Duplicate and Replacement Accounts

Members whose accounts have been restricted, suspended or terminated must not create replacement, duplicate or alternative accounts for the purpose of bypassing enforcement measures.

Attempts to circumvent moderation or enforcement decisions may result in additional restrictions and further account action.

Where duplicate accounts are identified, ClubCrossDressing® may merge, restrict, suspend or remove those accounts as appropriate.

Back to Contents

Confidentiality of Moderation Activity

ClubCrossDressing® does not publicly discuss individual members, reports, investigations, enforcement actions, moderation decisions, safeguarding reviews or internal moderation procedures.

This policy exists to protect the privacy of members, preserve the integrity of reporting systems and support effective moderation and safeguarding practices.

The platform may retain records relating to moderation and enforcement activity for operational, legal, safeguarding, security or evidential purposes.

Back to Contents

Content Standards

ClubCrossDressing® does not permit nudity, pornography, sexually explicit imagery or other prohibited content.

Any content found to violate these standards may be removed without notice and may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

The platform is intended to provide a safe and respectful environment focused on community, support, friendship, social networking, dating, fashion, identity and self-expression rather than adult entertainment.

The platform seeks to minimise exposure of members and moderators to prohibited sexual or explicit material.

These standards support the platform’s wider safety objectives and assist in meeting safeguarding and legal responsibilities.

Members are expected to contribute in a manner consistent with the community-focused nature of the service and to avoid content that may create risk, discomfort or harm to other users.

Back to Contents

Privacy by Design

ClubCrossDressing® employs a Privacy by Design approach intended to provide members with meaningful control over their online visibility and personal information.

The platform recognises that many members value discretion and privacy and therefore seeks to provide tools and controls that support those objectives.

By default:

  • Images are blurred for casual visitors.
  • Members can choose enhanced privacy options.
  • Members can prevent public indexing of their profile.
  • Members can prevent their profile from being visible to search engines altogether.
  • Images are configured to discourage indexing by search engines.
  • Measures are implemented to reduce long-term archiving of member content.

While no internet-based system can guarantee absolute privacy against determined technical inspection, ClubCrossDressing® continuously seeks to balance discoverability of the service with protection of member privacy.

Members are encouraged to use the privacy tools available to them and to make informed decisions regarding the information they choose to publish.

Back to Contents

Search Engine and Archive Protection

The platform implements technical measures designed to limit the indexing of member images and personal content.

These measures include:

  • Image indexing restrictions
  • Search engine exclusion controls
  • Archive exclusion controls
  • Measures intended to prevent long-term caching and archiving of member images
  • Technical controls intended to discourage image indexing and retention

Approximately one year prior to the publication of this report, ClubCrossDressing® significantly expanded its privacy protections and undertook efforts to remove previously indexed member images from search engine results.

Prior to these changes, member images were publicly discoverable through search engines.

The platform voluntarily undertook the process of removing historical image content from search engine indexes despite not being required to do so.

ClubCrossDressing® has also implemented measures intended to prevent future archiving of member content and has taken steps to remove historical archived content where possible.

These actions were undertaken voluntarily in order to strengthen member privacy and demonstrate responsible stewardship of user content.

User Education and Harm Reduction

ClubCrossDressing® believes that education and awareness form an important part of online safety.

The platform provides members with access to:

  • A Help Centre
  • A Safety Centre
  • A Harm Reduction Centre

Members are provided with an Account Health Check Wizard designed to guide users through privacy settings, profile completion, image management and platform safety features.

These resources are intended to help members make informed decisions about their online presence and personal privacy.

The platform continually reviews educational materials to ensure that members have access to practical guidance regarding privacy, safety, safeguarding and responsible participation.

Persistent abusive communications may be logged, retained and, where appropriate, reported to relevant authorities or service providers.

Policy Governance and Record Keeping

ClubCrossDressing® recognises the importance of transparency, accountability and consistency in relation to platform policies and operational standards.

Significant amendments to Terms of Service, policies, procedures, governance documents and operational standards may be recorded and retained as part of the platform’s internal record-keeping processes.

Where appropriate, ClubCrossDressing® may retain video records or other supporting records of significant policy changes and governance decisions.

These records help maintain an audit trail of policy development and support consistency in future operational decision-making.
