I understand we need more blogs filed tonight. Well, let me see if I can oblige. And I don't want this to be a blog about nothing (See Seinfeld, TV show about nothing). I could talk about how jealous I am of the other girls in our local CD Club (please don't tell them!). And not just because they are "nice girls". I try to be "nice" too but often I'm not. Most of them have been crossdressing for way longer than me. Ok I under-dressed for a decade before getting serious. But I'm the President of the Club, how can that be? I guess it is the work one puts in. Take makeup, yes, please, take it out of my hands! Many of the girls in our club are fanatical about their makeup. You will not see too many genetic girls out there performing at that level. I want to be there too. First experience with eyeliner a week ago. Oh Boy, safari to go... Of course, it is all measured by the work you put into it.
I have heard others say just go to a professional but then the next time you still have to do it yourself. There is lots of help in tutorials on youtube etc. I've watched some. We had a girl Andrea in our club who was very good with makeup. She took it to a fine art and it showed. Very nice. Haven't seen her for two months and now we are going to her funeral in a few days. Cancer. We will go en femme to show the flag. Sad. God rest her soul. I don't usually dress in black but this is a necessity. I have noticed even with my meagre experimentation with eyeliner and lipstick it makes a YUGE difference (pun on Don Trump's huge). Eventually with work and practice I will get the hang of it. The payoff is huge. Nicely dressed and nicely madeup ladies are spectacular. I want to be one. Cheers.

Darling, I'm so sorry for your loss; and I salute you and your girls for representing her at the funeral.

Regarding makeup; I hear you, sister. Many of us feel lacking in that department, but aspire to be better - not necessarily to be 'passable' (debate for another day) but just to feel more authentic in our femininity - the final hill to climb? You'll get there
Love, Samantha xx
