Every time I cross paths with a “more experienced” girl, I offer to buy her drink and try to hear her life story. Many are difficult to hear but more difficult for them to share- each time I feel more empowered to carry on what they pushed forward in hopes of helping younger generations. It is our responsibility to “pay it forward” or those who would attempt to restrain our advances will!!! Thank an “older girl” and help a younger one- we all need it!!!

Hello sweetie!!! Welcome to ccd!! I’m thrilled when I see how many younger people are feeling “freedom” to demonstrate their “whole selves”!!! Each generation benefits from the hardships endured by prior generations as I did- I will say that I was not “free” to practice the “art” in public until I was in my mid twenties which was becoming a time of accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community.
