Lots of comments ask for updates on my dating situation, which is very nice :)
So now there are 2, maybe 3.
The guy I blogged about before I am talking to every day and video chatting with. I'm very much the girl and he's very much the ordinary bloke. It's a fun dynamic to explore. I like the way he calls me feminine pronouns and pet names and I play into it. He's nice and I feel very comfortable with him. He just doesn't feel like the most exciting person I've met, although he has great taste in music and art and can talk about these things. Intelligence and a degree of sophistication are important. He's back from America in a few weeks then we can meet up.
The other guy I met on here, so may well be reading this but I don't think so (darling if you are do let me know ;) he's in an open relationship with a girl. Excitement is not an issue there - he's exciting. I was put off that the excitement might be too much and he might be a bit too wild for me but lately we've spoken more and I got a different impression. I think he might be gold. More sexually adventurous and voracious than me for sure, but a lot of fun, really interesting, empathetic, someone well worth knowing and getting to know better. We seem very much on the same page. Geography is not ideal but I think I'll try to arrange a meet soon.
And the last guy I just got chatting to. Half an hour from me, intimate photos a perfect specimen, likes trans/CD and domination. Liked my photos, sent me a flirt and initiated conversation. What more could I ask for? Well, social skills. Conversation is like blood from a stone and centred on his work as a night-shift fork lift driver. I can't just go throwing myself at people; we're never going to bump hips if you refuse to dance. So as frustrating as it is I think that's a non-starter.
Looking back I think the times I've felt most comfortable in my life aren't when I'm single or in a relationship but when I'm seeing a few different people long term. No strings, but real connection. Building trust and understanding rather than commitment, everyone free to follow their own path. That makes sense to me.
And since my little club is empty since I lost the narcissist, this is all looking very promising.
