So, like many people, the pandemic and lockdowns really took my life and kinda smashed it up! I said in my last post in 2019, that I may look to be more full time / open with my trans ways. That didn't really happen. Well, sort of but it has caused a rift with my wife, who I now have unreconcilable differences with and we have just separated, last Sunday in fact...
A brief history, I basically told my now wife that I was a crossdresser on the day after our first date. It didn't put her off and we went out many times, had many conversations about it and she seemed not only like it was something to work around, but something of interest. fast forward 20 years, 15 years of marriage, and 2 kids, and now it seems my crossdressing and self image problems are a bigger issue than she let on. I will say that, this is not the only issue, to be fair to her. We haven't been in love with each other for years. I think that the logistics and strain of having children really drove a wedge in the cracks, not to say that our kids are at fault, they aren't. And honestly, we have become less interested in each others lives, we both recently got new jobs, finished paying off some huge debts, bought a new car and a whole host of celebration worthy life milestones.
However, we didn't celebrate any of them, I don't think either of us cared particularly. I think we got to a stage maybe 5 or more years ago where indifference overshadowed our relationship. And that was both of our faults. I was just as much to blame as she was, and we couldn't find our funk again.
So here I am, in the middle of a separation, everything is red raw, things have been said and done. I have to find a place to live, I don't want to leave my kids, but I cant stay here either!

Awww hun that’s a shame but life does go in.
Be there for your kids and move on. I’ve done it and now found a wonderful girlfriend who loves and encourages me to dress.
Utopia is out there.
You just need to shoot her sweetie…..
That realy suck. Sorry to here that. I haven't told my wife. I just told my therapist I'm done crossdressing. Said I'm over it. I'm in the Hospital for 3 months now. Paralyzed. But you know I still want to dress, guess I'm not done. I love looking sexy and feel good. Some how some way I will dress again in my wheelchair.
Coment to moderator. 500 characters. I typed my comment then had to cut half of it. You couldn't tell me before hand where to stop????? Geeez
Really sorry to hear that the wife seems to have not been honest with you. I told my wife about 1.5 years ago that I liked to go en femme and I showed her my pics. She was not upset seemed to take it in stride but she hasn't seen me in the flesh dressed as a woman. I did hide it from her but as my dressing accelerated she caught on and I was happy to tell her. I am curious as to why some cis-women seem so annoyed by it.
Hello Eleanor, I applaud you for being honest at the very beginning of your relationship. Few are able to take that step and then the later “discovery” by the spouse leads to difficulties- “trust” being a significant factor. It seems your partner may not have been as “accepting” as she portrayed in the early stages. I hope you find some joy after the pain of the breakup diminishes.
Yes your right Billie these fragile times will soon be a thing of the past chin up xx
What a very sad story but you have to be happy & live your life iam very lucky as my partner is very understanding ❤ xx
