The weekend was an exciting time for me as I decided to venture out during the day for a walk  . I did not wear anything that would particularly attract attention, just some jeans tee shirt and court shoes. I have never been very skilled in the art of applying makeup but I took my time and used the theory that less is often more. So with a recently acquired black shoulder length wig and feeling quite apprehensive I drove to Coventry Memorial Park.
After sitting in the car looking around concerned if I would regret it I eventually took the plunge. On starting to walk I felt nervous but very proud and exhilarated, I soon realised that all the families and people out doing the same thing had little interest in me and appeared not to notice anything untoward. I spent an hour or so out, even stopping to get a drink and I have never enjoyed anything so much before.

The opportunity to repeat will be taken more confidently and maybe even a trip to the shops could be on the cards.
