An honest moment

When I was young I knew I was different. I wore my sister’s clothes from an early age and dressed exactly as I wanted. Didn’t matter to me if I wore girls jeans or shirts or a skirt to ******. I’d be happiest dressing androgynous, never really fitting in either grouping of children, rather just my own. I was confident enough in myself that when the teasing started I became a diva. I never listened to the teasing or the need to fit in. I danced to my own beat and I was happiest.I learned to be my own self, I chose not to dress and live like everyone else.

I found where I belonged and I hope you do too.
