Hi, I don't know about you all but I have been dressing since I was a young boy and I have tried to stop on a few occasions, but I just keep coming back to dressing. I love to dress and I always feel at my calmest when I'm fully dressed. I think I could be trapped in a vicious circle of dressing and building up a great wardrobe then throwing it all away just to start again a year or two later. My wife of 20 years knows I dress and wants no part in it, but now I'm 50 I think I need to just embrace this part of me and stop dropping in and out.
Sorry I just needed to write that down and tell someone. Thanks for reading this it has helped me a lot. Xx

This sounds so very familiar to me, but I at one point realized that this feminine part of my being was actually a very special gift, and I should not be forever trying to push it away. Even though I don’t have any idea what ‘normal’ might be? I can’t imagine not having this lovely aspect in my life.
Be gentle with yourself Hon, and embrace your finer side, I think that all of us would agree that we are happiest when we allow ourselves to let the Gurl out?
Sending you hugs, best wishes, and a kiss too!
Definitely don’t purge. You’ll just end up buying new things. As a therapist and having been in therapy many times I can tell you cross dressing is a fetish that you need to embrace and compartmentalize. The urge to dress will come and go, best to just find a way to manage it. I’m guessing your wife did not know about this when you first met so her feelings are valid. Short of couples therapy just best to express sincerity and be honest and thankful toward her..
By this time I'm sure you realize like me that the urge to dress will never stop. You need to embrace your fem self somehow as best you can. Life as a CD is so challenging sometimes.
