Dressing for Cross Dressers Meeting

I thought I would add my 2 cents to Rose's "Creative Crossdressing" blog. So right now I'm only dressing en femme once a month for our local CD club meeting. Been to 5 of them the last 3 en femme and those were my only 3 forays into public as a girl (sans makeup). Fun nevertheless. I went in either blonde or last time a black wig with a nice white or black top over my 44DDs. Always a miniskirt and black pantyhose. Knee length boots (bought 6 still waiting for 2 pairs to deliver).

I did shop at Value Village but had little success in getting the bigger sizes a man-sized girl needs. So now mostly I just order on line. And there have been terrific deals since before Christmas. On boots, tops and skirts. I found that some new items had to modified by my tailor. Some skirts had to be taken in and also shortened to meet my standards. LOL. But what I really liked doing was getting my own Spandex material from a fabric shop (huge selection here except in plaid or tartan which I love) and having my tailor sew up skirts to a template I like. Miniskirts only. She is doing some more of them for me as we speak. Plus shortening some dresses I'll wear as a top or maybe even as a shorty short dress over black pantyhose. We'll see. The point being that it is easy to be creative with your girly clothing and get good results. My nicest, sexiest miniskirts are the ones I've engineered myself with help from my tailor. And let's face it - who in their right mind wants to wear skirts at knee level or below??? Finger tips or higher only. BTW Spandex is great to allow you to show off your assets (legs and derriere) but also allow you to walk nice girly steps. My first skirt I bought from a Sears catalogue and was it gorgeous. Red but a little long. My tailor tightened it up so it looked great but it was not spandex and was very tough to walk in without some give even using very short ladylike steps.

So there is plenty of opportunity to showoff and wear nice clothes. The ambient temperature range here is about 80 degrees C so a girl needs nice winter clothes as well as light flimsy summer items for those scorching July/August days. Have fun girls!
