It's probably where we all begin our journey, in the closet so to speak, underwear is usually first, then the skirts etc, all feeling good around the safety of the legendary closet. But then, we want more, we want to be out - but taking that first step out into the big wide world while dressed as a gurl can be a daunting prospect, probably somewhat really scary for some. It appears to be the case that many crossdressers never leave the confines of their homes for fear of perhaps being recognised, ridiculed, **********, various other personal reasons and I was one such person.
It wasn’t bravery by any means, I was suffocating in my own prison, I had to taste freedom, so one summer day I decided to bite the bullet and escape. It was a thirty+ mile drive to the forest park which I thought would be reasonably free of people midweek but away from my vehicle – it wasn’t. Opting for bravado I didn’t back down, acted like I did this everyday of the week and it paid off. True there was a few guys that gave me long backward glares and one guy that steered away his wife or whatever she was. On the other hand though, several women stopped to talk, commented favourably on my risqué outfit, wished they had the courage to wear similar in public.
From then on, I’ve been to numerous different outdoor locations with and without company, including beaches, although I do avoid stripping down to my lingerie where children are present. One does not want to incur the wrath of angry parents. Places I do still avoid for the simple reason that I never liked them in the first place - claustrophobic - are cities, towns, shopping malls etc, instead it’s the great wild outdoors where you can taste freedom and whatever else you feel like tasting.
So get out there and enjoy your cross dressing passion and remember this - cross dressing in public is not a crime and because we exist as human beings, like everybody else, we to have human rights.

Hi GracieNY - To avoid any misunderstanding and/or having the whole thing rejected, at the last minute I cut out a sentence referring to the prescence of young **** between 'are present. One does not'
