When Sgt Joe Friday uttered those 6 words he actually meant what he said. Most people do also. I try to. If I say I'm going to do something then it's pretty well certain that I will do it. That's just how I like to operate my life, humble and pathetic as it is. If I don't tell the truth (as I know it) my nose grows very long and funny looking and I don't want to be seen it public sporting it. That is not to say I don't like to tell stories, for surely I do. And I write them too but it is always clear to others that they are stories of mine and not the truth. That is not to say that there aren't elements of the truth embedded in them. Complex - No?
This brings to mind our modern day politicians, or as I refer to them derisively, pols (Sunak, Terdo, Bidet, Macron, they're all the same). To a modern day Western world pol (yes, you lot in the UK too), the truth is a very strange concept. So strange that they have probably never, ever been acquainted with it. Perhaps we need to make pols take an oath before they take office, to wit - "I will always tell the truth". Good Lord, imagine a pol uttering those words. In my own country Khanada, most pols would utter that phrase and then turn around and 20 seconds later say "Yes, it is true - the Sun does rise in the West and sets in the East". Hmmmm. What if we, in desperation said, any pol caught lying (not telling the truth, is how my momma defined it) would be shot at sunrise (in the East not the West)? Would that make a bit of difference to them? I wonder.
One final word. As crossdressers, men who like to look and smell pretty in womens' clothing and perfume (so many lovely ones), hair etc. what do we do if/when someone challenges us in public? Get mad? Walk away? Call a policeman/woman? Our club girls here have never had that happen but I'm trying to determine what I would do. Fuel for my next blog. Cheers, girls.

I feel you on the politicians, they want the power and do not care about the citizens, in any country. Granted their a few that try and help but the majority don't.
If confronted I say walkaway but to the nearest place that is open and then if you have to call the police.
