Men In Dresses

I write this blog entry with a twinge of sadness. Not about crossdressing, no, not at all. I think it is a lot of fun and causes no harm to anyone. Who knows, perhaps our general style of dress will be changing and more men will feel comfortable being in public in a dress and pantyhose or a miniskirt and nice blouse, and of course, the requisite long hair. After all styles of dress do change over time. Look at how men dressed in Bill Shakespear's time. Hey Ho! And public acceptance of crossdressing is pretty much a foregone conclusion now. Except in some places I guess. Stay away from those places.

But we are guys. We are men who like to dress as women. Why? For one thing cuz we love women and want to emulate them. Sometimes. We love the way they look when they dress nicely, have their long tresses combed nicely, and walk with that soft and gentle locomotion with a lovely swaying of those womanly hips. Oh Yes! And a sensual tremor jiggling through their breasts. Love that. I'll have to admit when I do get dressed up and look nice I do wish I were a woman with all those nice bits they have. But I digress. When I'm not dressed as a woman I look like a regular guy. And I walk sometimes with that John Wayne swagger only he could do properly. The Duke was a man's man for sure. And there is nothing wrong with that. And there is nothing wrong with being a guy.

The sad part is to see what our society has become. In spite of our deep love for our womenfolk, their appearance, and our efforts to emulate them, as men we are constantly vilified. For being men. Now the American Psychological Association is talking about "toxic masculinity". I know this is not breaking news but there are things like this in the media every day now. Without be-labouring this too much, I know that you know what I am getting at. I'm talking about the need for society to have respect for a man being strong, stoic, resourceful, independent, intelligent and a gentleman. And also for knowing when it is time to fight the enemy. I suppose this may offend some people even some I know but let the chips fall where they may. For yours truly I do love to crossdress but I also believe in being a man in possession of the qualities listed above.
