It's been awhile since I posted anything or posted a blog. Did some soul searching with this crossdressing lifestyle with work and in my personal life.
Work is still work, I've been a CD for so long that no one even notices and all that CD shaming isn't part of my life. I belong in the women's circle and office chatter is more about women issues and the daily grind of work.
My personal life is another matter. When the doors are closed and I'm sitting alone contemplating my life choice as a CD the battle begins. I'm in my 30's and looking at living a comfortable life and slowing down with a life partner and we look at one another we concede there are things in this world we will never have. What would happen if I chose to throw all these clothes away, makeup and everything that keeps me feminine? My health issues I will no doubt encounter as I age and my partner's health what would I do without her? Its been a good conversation with our therapist about moving into our mature adult age. Its been good for us to lay out the realities of the life we have chosen together.
I don't know why I poured my heart out to you. I've always wanted acceptance and there is a part in the world that will never accept me for what I am. Life moves forward with or without you and I've chosen to keep moving forward living the best life as I can as a CD. Stay strong my sisters.
Love Rose

what I am, and my therapist says that if you cannot accept yourself and be confident you will never get others to accept you. I am glad that you are able to work in an environment where you are accepted. I now have the self referral forms to apply for an assessment at the nearest gender dysphoria service and have been told by the GP that the waiting list is a lng one. At 61yo, I might not be concidered for gender reassignment. I honestly wish I had made this choice 30 years ago. Take care Rose, lots of love Maddie xxx Thank you for listning xxx
It is a hard choice to make. My wife has filed for divorce, nothing to do with me CDing as I dress in private. We live and work in the same building and have seperate rooms on different floors. We have lived this estranged life for over 5 years now and the strain and anxiety is opressive. But, on the possitive side, I will have a flat of my own once the business sell and the divorce is finalised and I can start to live MY life without compromise to anyone else. I know it will be difficult but, like you, honesty with your self is paramount. I am learning to accept myself for who and
Hi Rose, I am 61 and am just starting my journey in earnest. I have CD'd since I was very young but have reached a point in my personal life (divorce) which will give me my own space for once to feel free to dress as I want. I still feel intimidated with what if any predjudices I may encounter and a long way off venturing out, but I have had similar thoughts of what will happen healthwise. More recently since discovering CCD and realising how many of us CD for whatever reason I wish the oportunities of online communities had been available when I was much younger. I may have followed my heart much sooner. I hope that whatever you decide to do that you will find your inner peace. Much love, Maddie xxx
I'll be your friend, you are not alone.
Lovely honest and down to earth blog....Follow your heart, this is YOUR life......Cristina Cross.
Stay strong too sister!
We all have our demons to deal with but to be accepted in the world you have to be able to accept yourself first. The world is so much more accepting of our "dressing" decisions these days I envy you with the future ahead. We'll never ever be accepted by everyone every where; it would be like all football(soccer) supporters all following the same one team worldwide. AND.....you know that's not going to happen....! Just a thought!!
You are very strong and brave Rose and your feelings I can understand but not as well or exactly as you . We all are in a different place . Similar in some ways but very different in others. Your choice is yours and only yours my friend
