Halloween

Girls, do I really need to remind the scaredy-cats among us that Halloween is coming up fast and that this is THE ideal time for acquiring your wigs?
 Many of us creep around, furtively adding bits here and there to our stash but would never dream of going into a shop and brazenly asking for a dress, lingerie, heels, or (the ultimate sexy transformation…) a wig.
But now is that time! The perfect excuse, that you and your mates are putting on a musical show for the lads at the rugger club.
And who better to impersonate than Abba or the Spice Girls?
“I’m so embarrassed,” you murmur to the shopkeeper, “but I’ve never acted on stage before and I’m bound to make a mess of it….”
“Just leave it to me,” says the assistant kindly, “Which Spice Girl do you want to impersonate?”
“Well actually I’m buying for the whole group of us, so, let’s see – there’s Ginger, Posh, Baby, Sporty and, oh yeah, Scary…”
“So, basically, you’ll need blonde, brunette, black, long and straight, short and curly….”
So you spend a bit more (!) than you reckoned, but explain to wifey that you had to get a new left phalange for the car…..
Now to another shop for the Abba costumes…..
Halloween comes but once a year – sigh.
