New Lipstick

I had been struggling with my new life as a single 35+ year old  crossdresser in a new job and the solitude of my own thoughts. Found myself many a night wanting to reach out but I knew better to just move on day by day. My sister told me I’d better just deal with it and rip off like a band aid, it’s gonna hurt but you will heal. For awhile it hurt and I had no ambition to do anything but feel sorry for myself. That too passed and I found myself one early morning wondering to myself what I needed to get rid of this ugliness and weight of these feelings I no longer wanted.
As I was laying upside down on my bed, with my head hanging over the edge I saw a reflection of myself, my hair, my face, my lips. I was thinking what do I need to make myself feel better? What is missing that will make me feel refreshed and whole again?
Then I caught myself pouting my lips, licking my lips and touching my lips. I thought of all the lipstick I wore each day at work and the colour I would wear on my weekend visits. The thought of a new shade of lipstick, excited me, woke me up and for the first time in a few months I wanted to go lipstick shopping. I was out of my pyjamas, threw on jeans and tshirt and went straight to my boutique for some new shades of lipstick. It been awhile since I visited her shop and she was with me helping me try out a few new shades lipstick. So I settle for matte red and moulin rouge gloss lipstick. A girl needs her lipstick to bring back her confidence and a feeling of her sexiness once again.
