I have shared with you a very personal but sincere piece of myself—my secret inner feminine side—one of many skeletons hanging in my walk-in closet. A closet full of delicate lace . whose beauty, is transparent. However I have minimized its allure shamefully cloaked in opacity. Shelves of shimmering satin, only to be tarnished with guilt. The worst, drawers of intimate unmentionables that beg to be mentioned.
I am reluctant to share this closely guarded but undeniable existence of my true self. This may potentially be a speed bump on the road to long-term sobriety.
I have endured numerous failed attempts at hoping for a life lived better, only to stall out once I take my foot off the accelerator and rely on cruise control—leapfrogging certain but crucial steps necessary to complete my journey, arriving at exit 12. Yet, at great risk of inevitably causing wreckage on a road, riddled with potholes...

This is a brief introduction to a piece that I am carefully developing. My genuine intent is to not only strongly express my thoughts but to be mindful of the subject's sensitivity. I am presenting my own personal experience in a manner that will not deeply rot its roots to the core... thank you for allowing me to pitch my tent (no pun intended) on this little but important corner of life.
