I was feeling a little adventurous Last week, I was out wanting some new lounge wear and undergarments. I was in man mode at my local department store. I found a couple pairs of panties and a bralette. I am at best a 40 a cup. While I was there I saw the Clinique counter and figured why not.
I walked up boldly to the counter, trying not to pee myself and run away, I asked the lady for some moisturizer, then some eye cream and she was so helpful and nice. She took her time with me and explained the best product for my skin type. I then asked her for something to cover some dark spots on my face and under my eyes. She took me around and started doing a color match on me. Please remember complete man mode. We found my color Clinique #40. Got me a tube of concealer. I felt so alive at that point. I now have my brand and my color. I went around to the register and there was two older ladies there. No funny looks no nothing. As she is ringing me up she sells me there was a special going on. I ended up with mascara, lip stick, a make up bag, a tote bad and several samples.
To make things a little more exciting is Clinique has a man centered product line. I told counter person that I didn't want the man's line. She did freeze for a brief second. She walked away from the men's area and reached in to the standard compartment and started showing me the creams, makeup and such. She showed me how to apply the concealer so it wasn't streaked and blended well.
I have to share some of the stuff I got with my wife. But I went and bought makeup. I bought makeup in male mode and no one cared. In a few weeks I'm going back and get some eye makeup. I will get the same lovely counter person to show me how to apply.

Lovey Blog Dawn, i'm no tsure if I would
It’s lovely when your inner self is going beserk on pure panic mode but the person your talking to is so accepting and supportive..I’ve had many experiences of that recently and it’s very uplifting and assuring especially to you because it boosts your confidence no end

It's really great when you feel free enough to do what you actually wanted to do and so enjoyed it. A real plus for you that was, but just maybe next time be brave enough to go dressed as DawnKellie, you will be surprised how well you will be accepted xx
