As a basic member of this site, I'm also a complex, classy, elegant and sophisticated lady who writes poetry, and a blog, to help me deal with my own transgendered issues. I know that I'm a kind, compassionate, loving and caring girl, and I love so very much who I am without any regard for what I may appear to be to other people.
I'm a woodworker, do my own plumbing and electrical, and my own carpentry repairs on my home.

Being transgendered is like being blessed with the most wonderful gift in the entire world, yet simultaneously condemned by an incredible curse.

It’s a blessing because transgendered men and women see the world from a perspective which no one else can. It’s a curse because to be who we know we are, we’re forced to subject ourselves to the cruelest forms of hypocrisy, persecution and prejudice, and face the distinct possibility that we will become victims of the most insidious hate crimes anyone could possibly imagine.

We risk losing our families, friends and jobs, and we even face the possibility of attempting suicide due to an inability to deal with the sheer loneliness and emotional turmoil we endure as each day dawns.
Most of the Poetry I've written formed within a very dark recess of my mind, and were you to read it, you would more than likely be utterly terrified of me.
However, if you were to read my love poem titled "Love Yet Unseen", written from within the confines of the most gentle, elegant, sophisticated, and loving recesses of my heart, the tears which form in your eyes, and flow across your cheeks, would most certainly have you mumbling beneath the twitching of your lips, "This is the most eloquent, beautiful love poem I have ever read in my life." A love poem which could have only been written by the hand and mind of a truly feminine, loving soul of a girl.
Perhaps I'll be able to share it with you one day, but until then, may each day bring you happiness, contentment, love and joy in your life.......Nichole Letitia B.
