Hello Stramstrong, We all have our reasons for not coming out to our friends and family. As you stated, Your own parents were not very supportive, I personally chose to keep my trait personal except for my wife. When I came out to her 4 Years ago she was not angry or supportive in any way, she was more concerned if I was Gay or if I was wearing her clothing. My only other family member to uncover my secret was my youngest Daughter, she was most understanding as she is in a same Sex Marriage up until now she has never voiced her opinion of her 'Father's 'trait' so although were are on good speaking terms she has never raised the issue, also up until my coming out to my wife I always posted non facial photos.But now I regularly post complete pics with the idea that if any member of my family or any freinds recognise me through my 'Disguise they should not out me as why were they looking at pics

well in my case Liv, i had therapy for 2years and i can stand strong on my own and i have been supporting a lot of people who need my help. But having a friend to talk to isn't such a bad idea.
