Shallow Hal

I wonder how many of you remember the movie referenced in the title?  I ask because this blog is going to sound like I'm very shallow.  And, maybe I am in some ways but please don't take offense.  

I sometimes wonder if I should have been born a girl.  There are a lot of things about me that are more feminine than masculine. However, it usually doesn't take me long to realize that this is not truly what I would have wanted.  Had I actually been born female my perspective would have undoubtedly been different but with my current mindset the answer is a clear "no".  Now why is that when I adore females and femininity?  Well, in addition to not wanting normal female physical challenges, there is another more shallow reason.  I might actually change my opinion about being female if I was guaranteed of being a sexy and attractive girl.  As I view women in the course of my daily life, I realize that, although I adore all of them, there are relatively few that I would really want to look like.  I know this is very shallow of me but, well, there it is.  People come in all shapes and sizes and you can't control what you are born into. The same is true of CDs. I suspect there are many CDs who can't reach their fem goals because they are just too male shaped.  

Honestly, I think most people are shallow in one way or another.  I want to be a sexy, attractive, female but reality is that the closest I will get to that goal is through my CD lifestyle.
