I can't count how many times I given everything away to charity or a women's shelter. I've stopped purging though. I remember enjoying running around at age 7 in the back yard in my sister's dress. Felt sooo good! Now I'm 69 and still dressing and loving it. I do still have to "edit: my wardrobe now and then - I shop TOO MUCH (and buy) so so at some point I get bored with a piece or run out of room. There's just so many pretty things out there and shopping has become easy. No clerk has ever questioned me and some even give me a friendly, knowing smile.

Understand the 'purging'.. had done it a couple of times when I was young before I knew it was a common reoccurring theme with many crossdressers. Know it's a bit of a cliche but think every member on here is at some stage of a 'journey'. What's right & feels good for one member won't necessarily be the same for another. Therefore you're certainly not alone in being a bit unclear in where you want to go on your journey.. you'll get there, just take it a day at a time & do what's right for you.. you'll work it out in your own time, don't let anyone rush you. Take it easy, stay safe
