Below are answers to common questions about account access, profile moderation, photos, verification and member conduct.
Why can’t I log in?
Please make sure you are using the correct login details, including any capital letters. Passwords are case sensitive.
If your login details are correct, your account may have been removed, suspended or restricted following a moderator review.
When a new member joins, their profile may become visible after they verify their email. Profiles, photos and account activity may then be reviewed by a moderator. If an account or profile breaches our policies, it may be removed and access may be disabled.
Why is my account on hold?
If you are taken to the account on hold page after logging in, it means that activity, profile information, photos or other content associated with your account may not comply with our Terms and Conditions or site policies.
Your account has been restricted while we decide whether any further action is required. Accounts placed on hold remain restricted while we decide whether they should be restored or permanently removed. Accounts that are not restored may be permanently deleted after a period of time in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not discuss, disclose or provide detailed explanations for individual moderation, account restriction, suspension or termination decisions, except where required by law.
If you believe your account has been placed on hold in error, you may contact Customer Support. Please include the email address associated with your account and a brief explanation.
Contacting us does not guarantee that the restriction will be removed.
Why was my profile removed?
Profiles may be removed when they contain content that breaches our profile or conduct policies.
This can include:
- Highly explicit sexual descriptions
- Graphic references to sexual acts
- Objectifying or degrading language
- Profile wording just looking for hookups
- Racialised sexual language
- Requests for prohibited sexual activity
- Abusive, threatening or discriminatory content
- Contact details or promotional links where these are not allowed
- Misleading, impersonating or fraudulent information
We do not usually provide a detailed line-by-line explanation of every moderation decision.
Can I create another account?
Unless you have been told that you are permanently banned, you may create a new account.
Any new profile, photos, messages and activity must comply with our policies. Creating another account to repeat the same behaviour may result in the new account also being removed.
Why did my profile appear before it was reviewed?
After email verification, a profile may become visible before a moderator has completed a review.
This does not mean the profile has been approved. Accounts and profiles may be reviewed after they become visible and may be removed if they breach our policies.
Why was my photo rejected or removed?
Photos may be rejected or removed when they:
- Contain explicit nudity or sexual activity
- Show another person without permission
- Include children or young-looking individuals
- Contain offensive, hateful or illegal material
- Display contact details, website addresses or promotional content
- Are misleading or do not appear to belong to the account holder
- Do not meet our image quality or verification requirements
Repeatedly uploading rejected content may result in account restrictions.
Why do I need to verify my email or identity?
Verification helps us reduce fake accounts, impersonation, spam and misuse.
Email verification does not guarantee that a profile has been approved by a moderator. Additional checks may still take place after verification.
Why was my message removed or my account restricted?
Messages and member conduct must comply with our policies.
Accounts may be restricted or removed for:
- Sending abusive, threatening or discriminatory messages
- Harassing another member
- Continuing to contact someone after being asked to stop
- Sending repeated unsolicited sexual messages
- Sharing explicit content without consent
- Sending spam, scams or promotional messages
- Requesting money or financial information
- Attempting to move members to suspicious external websites
- Impersonating another person
- Encouraging illegal or unsafe activity
What should I do if another member behaves inappropriately?
Please use the report or block tools available on their profile or messages.
Provide as much relevant information as possible. Reports are reviewed privately, and we may not be able to tell you what action was taken against another member.
Will you tell me exactly which words broke the rules?
We may provide a general reason for a moderation decision, but we do not guarantee a detailed explanation or a copy of all flagged content.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their entire profile, photos, messages and conduct comply with our policies.
Where can I read the full rules?
